Unlock a price deck

Note: Access to the Unlock Currency/Price Deck function in Currency Management requires the role 'Configuration/Currencies'.

If a user has a price deck open for editing, it will be locked to other users (or for the same user in a different Planning Space session).

This lock can be removed using the Unlock function. However, you must be careful since unlocking could result in unsaved changes being lost. (There can also be situations where a Plannin gSpace session has not ended cleanly and a deck is left in locked state although it is not being edited by anyone.)

The Unlock Currency/Price Deck screen shows all of the currently-locked decks and information about who locked them and when. To open this screen, open Currency Management using the Currencies button in the Dataflow Configuration workspace. Click the Unlock Currency/Price Decks button in the Currency Management tab on the ribbon.

To unlock a deck, click the Unlock Deck button next to its name.

The price deck will become available for editing and it will be removed from this screen.
